Don't Judge Me By My Plate

Sometimes I forget that this plate is on my car. It's the only thing that gives my relocation away. I don't drive timid or confused, I've adjusted well to the traffic situations here. We get to drive pretty fast. The highways are 70, most streets are 40 - 45... I'm lovin' that part. I've gotten really good at switching lanes in crazy bumper to bumper traffic. But still, even though I don't think about it, I'm sure people make quick assumptions just by looking at the Maine license plate. I'm going to change it but not until I get my money's worth from the Maine registration!! :) Until then I'm probably the victim of comments in local's cars like, "Why don't you go back to Maine... do all Maine drivers drive like that... Maine? Probably another person trying to make it in country music....". Oh how quickly we judge.
